Cancellation of Orders/ Returns
An order can be cancelled if we have not cut it yet, so if you need to cancel an order please call immediately to ensure that we cancel the order before it is processed. Once an order has been processed (Cut, Sheared or Plate Saw Cut) it cannot be returned. All cancellation orders must be called in. If the order is a standard size and has been filled by our service center a 30% restocking fee will be applied to the order.
If you need to return a standard size item, you may ship it back to us at 14255 James Road, Rogers MN 55374.

Wrong Material/ Damaged Goods.
At Midwest Steel we take pride in supplying quality metal at a low price. We understand that mistakes will happen, if we process an order incorrectly we will make it a priority to get you replacement material ASAP. Midwest Steel Supply’s return policy does not apply when we have made an error in quantity, quality or products processed.

Shipment and Delivery
Goods are shipped F.O.B shipping point. When goods have been delivered from the freight carrier for shipment to a customer and have been receipted for by the carrier in good condition, our responsibility ends, but we are always ready and willing to furnish duplicate bills of lading and otherwise render assistance in making claims for damages against a carrier. Shipments should always be examined carefully before being accepted from the carrier.

CLAIMS, DAMAGES, WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT WE MAKE AND ARE BOUND BY NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, AND WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY HEREBY.
Claims against us of all kinds, including by but not limited to those for defects, shortages and allowances, must be made promptly and in no event later than seven (7) calander days from billing. We are not responsible for errors in “taking off” lists of materials. Our liability for material found to be defective is limited to such defects that develop or appear immediately upon delivery or installation. In this event the articles must be returned to us, or if we so direct, to the mill, and our liability shall be limited to replacement of defective articles at our option and/or giving credit for the amount of the purchase price. No claims for labor, cartage, or other consequential or direct damages shall be made or allowed against us. It is understood that Midwest Steel Supply is not bound by any warranties, express or implied, of any kind whatsoever.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
No statements, representations or agreements of any kind are binding or chargeable to us unless made in writing. Any and all prior statements, representations and agreements, which are not recited in writing in our final proposal or agreement, are excluded and superseded thereby. It is understood that we are not liable for any delays or damages due to governmental restrictions, rulings for priorities, or any other lawful restrictions now or hereafter imposed, or due to fires, strikes, lockouts, differences with workmen, accidents, war, delays or defaults by carriers, or due to any causes or contingencies beyond our control without any limitation whatsoever. All agreements and order become effective when, and only when accepted in writing by us or by delivery of goods of the particular goods ordered.
