6061 Plate Circles are band saw cut circles, they are cut oversized to allow to machine clean up. The Band Saw will leave light ridges from our circle saw, not smooth.

6061 Aluminum Plate is made of one of the most versatile of all of the aluminum alloys. 6061 Aluminum Plate is the alloy of choice for all-purpose applications. 6061 Aluminum Plate is an aluminum-silicon-magnesium alloy, strengthened by precipitation hardening. This alloy has medium strength, formability, weldability, machinability and corrosion resistance. 6061 Aluminum plate is used for tooling plate, architectural applications, transportation equipment, bridge railing components, and is useful in welded structural application.
6061-T651 Aluminum Plate Cut/ Aluminum Saw Cut Circles
Our 6061 plate has T651 temper, indicating it has been solution heat treated followed by a minimal stretching to reduce stresses in the material. The material was then artificially aged to allow the alloying elements to precipitate out of the material, to give immediate maximum strength.

6061-T651 Aluminum plate has a tensile strength range of 42-45 KSI, and conforms to AMS QQ-A-250/11, ASME SB209, and ASTM B209
Mill Thickness Tolerance ranges from -0 to +.014/0.130 depending on thickness. Call for specific tolerance if needed.
6061 plate uses include: heavy-duty structural and transportation applications requiring good corrosion resistance as well as general machine shop and tooling plate applications.
